Sporadica
Sporadica is a musical journey born out of queer love and daring imagination. Lucy le Freak (she/her/they/them) and novel natura (they/them) met while building their respective reputations in the Seattle scene as Minør and hherb in 2018. After being friends for quite some time, they fell in love in 2020 and proceeded to write dozens of songs together over the span of 2-3 years. Their influences are wide and vast, and cover many genres and styles, from breakbeat, to techno, and even some drum & bass. Ultimately, you can always expect an eclectic, eccentric, and bold DJ set whenever Sporadica hits the stage. Although the Sporadica project is young, with their self-titled debut album being released in September of 2023, Lucy le Freak and novel natura have achieved many accolades in their more than 5 years in the PNW scene. Both have played large Insomniac events, countless PNW festivals, and have had mixes showcased on the world famous C89.5. Needless to say there is plenty of room to grow for this duo, and they look forward to sharing their passion with the world for years to come.
